To be eligible for the Scientist-D and Scientist-C positions, candidates must meet the following qualifications: * **Essential:** Master's Degree from a recognized University or institute in any of the disciplines specified in Schedule I; or Bachelor's Degree (minimum four-year degree course) from a recognized University or institute in any of the disciplines specified in Schedule II. * **Experience:** * Scientist-D: Eight years' experience in Research and Development in Industry or Academic Institution or Science and Technology Organization. * Scientist-C: Four years' experience in Research and Development in Industry or Academic Institution or Science and Technology Organization. * **Desirable:** Doctorate degree from a recognized University or institute in any of the disciplines specified in Schedule I; or Master's Degree from a recognized University or institute in any of the disciplines specified in Schedule II.
