Eligibility & Qualification
To be eligible for the Senior Technical Assistant (Mechanical) position, candidates must possess a full-time diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/Production/Production & Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical & Automobile Discipline. Candidates with higher qualifications (Degree/PG Degree) in the same discipline are also eligible to apply. General/EWS category candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in the Minimum Educational Qualification, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD) should have at least 45% marks. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification work experience in the relevant field of Engineering. The period of Apprenticeship training (as per The Apprenticeship Act 1961) in the relevant discipline/area will be considered for minimum post-qualification experience. However, the period of training (except on-the-job training)/internship/teaching/academic/fellowship/PhD research experience will not be counted as part of the experience.Application Fee

Selection Process
The selection process for the Senior Technical Assistant (Mechanical) position consists of two phases:- Phase I: Written Test - Candidates must appear for the written test, which carries a weightage of 100%. A minimum of 50% marks for UR/EWS (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD) is required to be considered for further selection.
- Phase II: Document Scrutiny - Based on the result of the Written Test, the documents uploaded by the candidates during the online application will be scrutinized by RITES LTD.
Salary & Pay Scale
The selected candidates for the Senior Technical Assistant (Mechanical) position will receive a Basic Pay of INR 16,338 per month, with a Gross Monthly CTC (Cost to Company) of INR 29,735.
