Project Scientist E: Rs.123100/- Plus HRA; Project Scientist III: Rs.78000/- Plus HRA; Project Scientist II: Rs.67000/- Plus HRA; Project Scientist I: Rs.56000/- Plus HRA; Scientific/Admin Assistant: Rs.29200/- Plus HRA. Scientist posts are also eligible for an increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review.
Eligibility Criteria
QualificationFor Project Scientist roles: M.Sc. or B.Tech/B.E. in fields like Physics, Mathematics, Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Electronics, Computer Science, Agricultural Meteorology, Remote Sensing & GIS, Environmental Science with at least 60% marks. A Doctorate is a desirable qualification. For Scientific Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in Science (with Physics) or in Engineering/Technology fields like Computer Science, Electronics, IT. For Admin Assistant: Bachelor's Degree and a passed Computer Proficiency Test.
Age Limit30 to 50 Years(Relaxation in age and experience for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per GOI Rule. Relaxation)
ExperienceProject Scientist E: Eleven years' experience in Research and development. Project Scientist III: Seven years' experience in Research and development. Project Scientist II: Three years' experience in Research and development. For Project Scientist I, no specific duration of experience is mentioned, but 'Essential experience' is a screening criterion. A Doctorate degree counts as 3 years of experience.
